Arvi (arvi.in), a healthcare solution for senior citizens, launched recently in India. To begin with, the startup is currently offering its services in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The service aims to make healthcare easy, instant and accessible for senior citizens. Arvi provides a smart medical alert system that offers emergency and non- emergency medical assistance with doorstep convenience for senior citizens.
Conceptualised by IIT Bombay alumni, Sushant Reddy and Avinash Lavangal in July 2019, Arvi aims to become the most trusted healthy living brand for senior citizens in India. Speaking about the same, Sushant Reddy, Co-Founder, Arvi, stated, “Senior care in India is highly fragmented and adoption of technology is pretty low. We want to leverage technology to bring fast, easy-to-use and reliable healthcare solutions for senior citizens,” he added.
Medical assistance at a push of a button
Arvi installs a smart medical alert system with ‘push buttons’ at all critical locations of the house. When a senior citizen pushes a button during emergency, a smart hub automatically triggers phone and SMS alerts to relatives and neighbours. Additionally, Arvi support team dispatches an emergency ambulance and arranges a hotline between senior citizen and an emergency doctor. Arvi support team also provides assistance in non-emergency scenarios such as scheduling medicines delivery, doctor-on-call appointments, health check-ups at home etc.
Arvi has a dedicated team of technical, operations, marketing resources and a dedicated panel of doctors.
