What would be the role of the new product leaders at Suki and their vision?
Belwadi Srikanth has joined Suki as its Vice President of Product and Design and Anmol Rastogi as Senior Director of Product. Both have deep expertise in building and scaling products from leading firms – Bel was most recently at Google and Anmol is joining from Lendingkart. Under their leadership, Suki will continue its rapid pace of innovation, expanding its capabilities to tackle some of the most tedious, time consuming tasks physicians face by voice. Suki’s mission is to lift the administrative burden from doctors so they can focus on what matters: their patients. With Bel and Anmol on the team, the company is well-positioned to accomplish its mission at scale.
How does the new leadership team plan on scaling Suki?
As a rapidly growing company, building solutions that can scale with company growth is imperative. A key priority area for both Bel and Anmol is building new features and capabilities in ways to accommodate the rapid growth of the user base. This includes developing new functionality that will address the key needs of physicians, building the features to be intuitive and delightful to enable adoption, and making investments in scalable architecture.
User focus and understanding are core to Suki’s culture, summed up by the value “every pixel is in service of the doctor”. As the user base and the feature set of the product grow, a deep understanding of user needs becomes even more important to ensure the team is focusing energy and resources in the places that are most important. Both Bel and Anmol are committed to this user-centric view for product development and will be implementing processes and procedures to ensure that this user focus continues to be woven into the culture of the company.
What is the product roadmap in the years to come?
Suki’s flagship product, Suki Assistant, has seen a rapid cadence of innovation recently, including launching a new skill of retrieving patient information from the EHR (Show Me commands) and introducing the Windows version of the app. The goal for Suki Assistant is to help physicians with a wide variety of tasks in a wide variety of settings, and the roadmap is focused on new capabilities to do so. Some examples include introducing an EHR-agnostic version of Suki Assistant, launching billing code capabilities, and supporting physicians who work in inpatient settings.
Suki Speech Platform (SSP), Suki’s proprietary voice platform for healthcare companies to voice-enable their solutions, is also rapidly evolving. Suki works with some of the leading companies access healthcare to power their voice experiences, and the focus is on making SSP even more flexible and easier to use for partners and end users.
What are your growth plans in India in terms of onboarding doctors, hospitals, and talent?
India is an exciting market, especially considering the digitisation of the industry that is currently underway. We do not have immediate plans for commercial activity, but India is critically important because the level of tech talent is world class. We want the best folks helping us with our mission to lift the administrative burden from physicians. We’re using cutting edge ML and NLP/NLU techniques to do so, and we’ve already built an exceptional team in India working on these exciting projects. We’re definitely going to accelerate our investment in the team in India to support our plans for growth.
How will the past experiences of new product leaders help Suki expand and grow?
Both Bel and Anmol have deep experience in building and launching technology solutions at scale, having previously managed well-known products including Google Search, Lendingkart, and Tala India. Their expertise in developing and managing products that have achieved mass adoption will be instrumental in driving the evolution of Suki’s products, focusing on user needs, a delightful experience, and architecture that supports rapid growth.
