Bausch + Lomb plans to further expand its surgical business product portfolio in India. The development is in line with the company’s strategy to extend and strengthen its presence in the growing ophthalmology surgical devices and instruments market in the country.

The recent acquisition of Synergetics US, will provide additional impetus to Bausch + Lomb’s portfolio expansion plans in India.

Bausch + Lomb plans to launch its VersaVIT 2.0 Vitrectomy System, along with all the instruments and accessories ranging from illumination probes, packs, laser probes, filters, cannulas and other instruments.

Bausch + Lomb offers advanced surgical equipment for cataract and refractive surgeries through platforms like Stellaris Vision Enhancement System, Teneo 317 excimer laser and Victus femtosecond laser with latest technologies for procedures like SUPRACOR and Zyoptix.
