DATRI revamps its website
The new website will help in easier navigation to gather information
Chennai-based DATRI, a non-profit blood stem cell donors registry, has revamped its website, which will be launched on May 27, 2016. The registry which has the largest number of potential blood stem cell donors in India drives a lot of donor registrations and information sharing through the website.
The new website will help in easier navigation to gather information and thereby take a quicker decision to register as a potential blood stem cell donor. Those interested in joining the registry can request for a do-it-yourself kit on the website, which will be delivered in seven to 10 business days. Patients in need of donors can also send their search requests directly through the new portal. This charitable organisation greatly depends on donations for donor registration (including HLA typing). The new website will have a payment gateway feature to enable money donations in a much simplified and secure way.
DATRI was co-founded in 2009 by Raghu Rajagopal, Dr Nezih Cereb and Dr Soo Young Yang. There are close to 1000 patients waiting in DATRI’s search list for a matched donor.
