Flags of a mobile van campaign creating awareness about eye donation
Dr Agarwal’ s Eye Hospital has recently launched its latest myopic refractive error correction procedure, SMILE (Small Incision Lenticule Extraction) and a state-of-the-art centre at Indira Nagar, Bengaluru. The new facility having 6000 sq ft area was inaugurated by S Rajagopalan, Managing Director, Dr Agarwal’s Group of Eye Hospital. The event was also attended by Dr Adil Agarwal, CEO, Dr Agarwal’s Group of Eye Hospitals.
The launch was also marked by Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital pledging their support and flagging off an eye donation campaign. As part of the initiative, Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital will have mobile vans running across the length and breadth of the city raising awareness about eye donation. The campaign will be on for a month.
The mobile vans will work as a platform for public to register for eye donation. Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital will plant 500 saplings in and around the new centre extending their support to causes that impact our ecosystem. The sapling will be maintained by Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital.
