Cardiac patients to benefit immensely

Mumbai based Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital  (a Multi-Specialty Hospital) has recently installed the 384 Slice Cardiac CT Scan Machine. This advanced, AI-based CT Scanner makes CT procedure and its diagnosis better in accuracy (as compared to the older 128 slice for cardiac) leading to more clarity to cardiologists/cardiac surgeons on further line of treatment to the patients.

Some of the key features of the new ‘384 Slice Cardiac CT Scanner’ are high quality diagnostic imaging results, enhanced efficiency with AI-based patient positioning and remote scanning assistance for technologists, increased standardisation with GO technologies powered by Artificial Intelligence, enhanced patient safety by Ultra-Low radiation dose and low breath and less contrast for patients.

While commenting on the installation of the most advanced CT Scanner, Dr Sujit Chatterjee, CEO, Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital, Mumbai said, “When it comes to Hospital infrastructure, our management strongly believes in having the best and latest. During the peak time of Covid, our hospital was among the firsts to install its own Oxygen Generating Plant within premises. Now, with this AI-based advanced imaging machine (128/384 Slice CT Scanner) we have once again demonstrated our belief and policy of offering only the best and latest for the benefits of our patients. Besides empowering our doctors and medical staff with this machine and its efficiency and accuracy, this new generation imaging machine emits very low radiation thereby ensuring safety and better medical treatment to our patients.”
