GOQii recently announced an investment of $10 million in the UK with Modality Partnership. As a part of its engagement to drive preventive healthcare, the company has announced its extension of engagement with the Commonwealth Moves initiative to encourage healthy lifestyle and behaviour among the youth.
With this new venture, GOQii will also be looking for opportunities of investment in the Caribbean region to enable local communities make a shift towards sustainable healthy lifestyle.
GOQii’s centre of engagement will engage the youth of the region with a focus on health & fitness.
Vishal Gondal, Founder and CEO, GOQii commented, “We thank the Commonwealth Secretariat and in particular the Secretary General, Patricia Scotland for their support and the useable youth focused investment templates in the region through the cambridge collaboration for attracting sustainable development in Small Islands and Developing States (SIDS), which will underpin our effort in the region.”
GOQii recently has also raised $10 million in an extended Series C Equity round of funding from Animoca Brands. It will collaborate with Animoca Brands and its ecosystem companies and projects to develop various offerings that leverage blockchain tokens and gamification in preventive healthcare.
