The e-Summit will focus on the science of balancing food and nutrition in maintaining optimal immunity followed by the announcement of Immunity Champions of India Awards
In association with ICCIDD, media partner Express Healthcare and name partner Coalition Food & Nutrition Security, HEAL Foundation will organise the first edition of ‘India Immunity e-Summit 2020: Science of Balancing Food & Nutrition in Maintaining Optimal Immunity’ on September 17, followed by ‘Immunity Champions of India Awards’.
The e-Summit is an initiative to spread awareness about the importance of immunity in fighting COVID-19 and the role of nutrition in maintaining optimal immunity. It would cover the whole gamut of immunity and nutrition and their inter-relatedness in ensuring holistic health.
“In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the importance of immunity in fighting the virus, maintaining the holistic health, and the role of nutrition in boosting immunity has focused the attention of the world at large. But everyone is not aware of the in-things of the nutrition and immunity and the intrinsic relationship between the two. The e-Summit aims to make the people aware of the significance of the immunity and nutrition wherein experts from across the sectors will deliberate with insights”, says Dr Swadeep Srivastava, founder, HEAL Foundation.
The e-Summit is scheduled to be split in three sessions:
- Nutrition e-Samvaad: Nutrition Security and National Nutrition Programs
- The Immunity Conundrum: Lesson Learnt
- Ayurveda, Yoga, and Naturopathy-Linking Ancient Wisdom to Modern Science.
The e-Conclave will be followed by the Immunity Champions of India Awards. The awards have been organised to honour the leaders of nutrition who have done some exceptional work in the field during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has helped boost immunity, helping people to combat the pandemic. The awards have been divided in two categories: organisational and individuals.
