Healthians partners with DPMI to skill more than 10,000 phlebos ahead of COVID-19 third wave

Based on the MoU, DPMI will use its decades of experience in imparting subject-based knowledge and skills to strengthen India’s healthcare workforce, aiming to produce 10,000 skilled phlebotomists over the next three years

Healthians and Delhi Paramedical and Management Institute (DPMI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch co-branded short-term healthcare programmes to create and facilitate learning opportunities in the healthcare landscape, a statement said.

It also said that the collaboration between Healthians and DPMI aims to improve the quality of education imparted and value addition to youth pursuing the healthcare courses and build a cadre of healthcare professionals that will bridge the skill gap prevalent in India’s healthcare sector.

“We at Healthians believe that such skill development programmes have become the need of the hour in current pandemic times, not just to address the skill shortage that exists in the workforce, but also to bring meaningful employment opportunities to the youth of this country,” said Deepak Sahni, founder, Healthians.

He added, “The collaboration with DPMI will help us build a strong pipeline of paramedic healthcare professionals who are work-ready to ensure a quality diagnostics and healthcare delivery system for years to come.” 

Based on the MoU, DPMI will use its decades of experience in imparting subject-based knowledge and skills to strengthen India’s healthcare workforce, aiming to produce 10,000 skilled phlebotomists over the next three years through certificate and diploma courses and expand the company’s presence to over 500 cities, added the statement.
