Will create robust platform for artificial intelligence, remote patient management to redefine future of healthcare in India, be part of ‘New Normal’

Healthspring, a chain of primary healthcare providers announced the deployment of new age technology to deliver excellent longitudinal care in the post-COVID era. Healthspring will create a robust platform for artificial intelligence and remote patient management to redefine the future of healthcare in India and be part of the ‘New Normal’.

Technology-based healthcare service delivery witnessed a significant surge during the lockdown with customers now preferring to consult doctors across specialties online. This paradigm shift has helped Healthspring in procuring superior data management and flow of information as well as provide easy access of healthcare services to its customers.

Commenting on the launch of the new services, Kaushik Sen, Co-Founder & CEO, Healthspring said, “The coronavirus outbreak has put all of us in a state of shock and has resulted in us changing how we handle things. Customers now want to engage in minimal human contact, and we have witnessed an upsurge in tele-consultation even for regular health check-ups. Going forward, technology and tele-consultation will play a crucial role in the constant and remote monitoring of health. It will also segregate emergency and non-emergency cases which will in turn, ease the burden on the healthcare infrastructure. This will ensure that healthcare access is more widespread and convenient.”

During the lockdown, Healthspring has successfully run a COVID free environment at 15 clinics accessible for customers across Mumbai and Pune and its medical facilities set up across more than 120 locations catering to more than 200 clients for corporate health and occupational health. Preparedness of their employees was high with requisite training towards guidelines as advised by the Government and WHO. Special packages were also launched which included consultation, prescription and facilitation of testing, digital symptom checker, healthcare services at customer’s doorstep and a flu care kit (which includes a sanitiser, face mask, hand gloves, tissues, digital thermometer, ORS, paracetamol, cough lozenges, doctor tele-consult and flu management advisory note).
