IAMAI HealthTech announces leadership changes

The committee actively engages in key sectoral issues pertaining to telemedicine, e-pharmacy, e-diagnostics, new age surgical models, and health data privacy

The Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) HealthTech Committee has appointed Dr Vaibhav Kapoor, Co-founder of Pristyn Care, as the new Chair, and Manoj Balaji, CEO of TatvaCare, as the new Co-chair, following their election to the posts.

The committee actively engages in key sectoral issues pertaining to telemedicine, e-pharmacy, e-diagnostics, new age surgical models, and health data privacy.

Dr Kapoor said, “It is an honour to serve as the Chair of IAMAI’s HealthTech group, following in the footsteps of visionary leaders. With a strong emphasis on collaboration, my aim is to contribute to the advancement of new age healthcare models and cutting-edge health tech. Our collective efforts are directed towards fostering inclusive and accessible healthcare, keeping patients at the heart of all initiatives, and working in close coordination with the Ministry and Government of India’s vision of equitable and accessible health care for all.”

Balaji shared his perspective on the transformation of India’s healthtech sector, stating, “Amidst the ongoing dynamic digital transformation, India’s HealthTech sector is poised for a remarkable journey. Digital health records, with their efficiency and patient empowerment, are on the verge of revolutionising the healthcare landscape. India possesses unique advantages, including a clean slate with the absence of legacy systems that make innovation, transformation, and disruption highly feasible. With a sizable, tech-savvy population and a growing appetite for digital services, the nation stands at the precipice of healthcare digitization. The progress will be driven by the determination of innovators and supported by government initiatives like ABDM. As a member of the IAMAI HealthTech leadership, I eagerly anticipate collaborating with peers, the government, and the entire healthcare ecosystem to unlock new frontiers and ensure a seamless healthcare journey for every citizen.”
