Infinx has announced the acquisition of Glidian, a company specialising in prior authorisation automation. The acquisition strengthens Infinx’s patient access solutions and expands its presence in the laboratory market, where Glidian has established itself as a key player.

Glidian was founded to automate prior authorisations and improve patient access to healthcare. The company combines technology and services to achieve broad market coverage. Infinx shares this objective, making the acquisition a strategic move for both organisations.

“This partnership is an exciting step forward for both organisations,” said Jaideep Tandon, CEO of Infinx. “Glidian’s expertise in prior authorisation technology, particularly within the laboratory space, complements Infinx’s suite of patient access solutions. We’re excited to welcome the Glidian team to the Infinx family and look forward to continuing our relentless innovation to address the pain points in patient access and prior authorisation. Together, we will deliver even greater value to healthcare providers and their patients.”

The acquisition comes at a time when both companies have built integrations with nationwide payers. By merging these connections, Infinx and Glidian will enhance efficiencies and streamline workflows for customers. The combined entity now processes an average of 700,000 patient access transactions per month.

Glidian customers will benefit from Infinx’s AI-driven platform, which continuously adapts to payer requirements to improve automation, accuracy, and prior authorisation approvals. The integration of AI-powered intelligence with Glidian’s existing solutions will create a seamless and efficient prior authorisation process.

“Infinx’s commitment to innovation and customer success makes them the perfect partner for Glidian,” said Ashish Dua, CEO of Glidian. “With Infinx’s resources and expertise, we can further accelerate prior authorisation automation and expand our product offerings, ultimately improving the patient access experience for all.”
