JP Nadda leads yoga session at 69th WHO SEARO meeting
Nadda was accompanied by health ministers of several nations in Colombo
JP Nadda, Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare, led a yoga session at the 69th WHO Regional Committee meeting of South-East Asia Region in Colombo. Nadda was accompanied by health ministers of several nations in the yoga session with more than hundred participants.
Nadda articulated Government of India’s vision in the area of universal healthcare and its roadmap for achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He highlighted the myriad achievements of the Health Ministry including Mission Indradhanush, MNTE and Yaws-free status of India in various sessions during the meet.
Nadda also received the certificate for MNTE and Yaws-free India. The certificates were presented by Dr Margaret Chan, DG, WHO and Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh, DG, WHO-SEARO.
