The accreditation is for meeting high standards of patient safety and quality care
Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital (KDAH) has received The Joint Commission International (JCI), US Gold Seal of Approval accreditation for meeting very high standards of quality and patient safety. KDAH has all the four accreditations – NABH, NABL, CAP and now JCI.
KDAH underwent an on-site survey in December 2015 by an international team of specialists across disciplines drawn from the US, South America, Europe and Far East. The evaluation covered issues related to effective clinician and interdisciplinary teamwork to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient-centric care.
The JCI, awarded for a period of three years, sets protocols for accredited hospitals to ensure that patients receive timely and appropriate treatment resulting in improved patient outcomes, greater patient satisfaction and reduced overall costs. The JCI certification also expects the accredited hospitals to focus on educating patients in all aspects of ailments and treatment protocols.
