Lilavati inaugurates first clinic in Ahmedabad, eyes 50 more in five years

Lilavati Clinic & Wellness, a new venture by promoters of Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, inaugurated a healthcare facility in their personal capacity in Ahmedabad on Monday, July 2, 2024. 

The clinic, spread over 8,000 square feet, is equipped with the latest medical equipment and staffed by a team of experienced healthcare professionals, and will offer a wide array of medical services and diagnostic tools.

Prashant Mehta, Promoter of Lilavati Clinic & Wellness, said, “Our mission is to provide accessible and world-class healthcare services while promoting overall well-being through our holistic wellness programs. We aim to make advanced healthcare accessible to all and look forward to serving the community by making a positive impact on their health and lives.”

“The Outpatient Departments (OPD) facility consists of seven well-equipped consulting rooms catering to various specialities and will be operational from 9 am to 9 pm, ensuring comprehensive care for patients. The clinic provides advanced diagnostic services such as Electrocardiogram (ECG), Echocardiogram (ECHO), Stress Test (TMT), Advanced X-ray, Ultrasound (USG), including short stay (Day Care) and Minor Procedure room services. The Centre also has preventive health check-up packages to suit various age groups. Lilavati is also the first Dentsply set up for a dental department in Gujarat, making it a comprehensive clinic,” informs the statement.

Mehta also shared that the multi-speciality Lilavati Hospital in GIFT City is on track for a full-fledged opening in August 2025. The construction of the 350-bed hospital is being undertaken at a cost of more than Rs. 500 crore. The hospital’s first phase is projected to become operational by March.

Separately, the promoters plan to open five hospitals in different cities for Rs. 4,000 crore in the next five years. The hospitals are expected to come up in New Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Assam.
