Maxivision Group of Eye Hospitals announce partnership with Ojas Group of Eye Hospitals, Mumbai
The partnership plans to open five new centres across Mumbai within the next 24 months and gradually expand to other parts of Maharashtra
Maxivision Group of Eye Hospitals announces its entry into Maharashtra through a strategic partnership with Ojas Group of Eye Hospitals an eye care provider in Mumbai. Together, the newly formed Joint Venture – Ojas Maxivision Eye Hospitals aims to invest Rs 500 crores to expand operations across Maharashtra.
The partnership was formally launched by Dr GSK Velu, Promoter and Chairman, Maxivision Super Specialty Eye Hospitals and Dr Niteen Dedhia, Promoter and Chairman, Ojas Group of Eye Hospitals in the presence of Dr Rohan Dedhia, Promoter and Director Ojas Group of Eye Hospitals, Pranav Dedhia, CEO, Ojas Group of Eye Hospitals and VS Sudheer, Group CEO of Maxivision Super Specialty Eye Hospitals.
According to a press statement, the partnership plans to open five new centres across Mumbai within the next 24 months and gradually expand to other parts of Maharashtra.
Under the leadership of Dr Niteen Dedhia, Ojas Group of Eye Hospitals currently operates three premier centres in Mumbai—Bandra (W) and Kandivali (E). Ojas offers advanced eye treatments such as the flapless ELITA SILK procedure for vision correction, 3D imaging and robotic cataract procedures, phakic lens treatment for correction of very high eye powers and advance dry eyes treatment.
Maxivision Super Specialty Eye Hospitals was founded by Dr Kasu Prasad Reddy in 1996 and subsequently acquired by Dr GSK Velu in 2011. The network has expanded to include over 50+ centres, with continued growth, covering six states in South and West India. Maxivision has its network of hospitals in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Kerala, Gujarat and now entering Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. The company has also raised INR 1300 Crores from Quadria Capital last year to drive organic expansion and inorganic growth.
