MedLern and NATHEALTH have announced the launch of the Digital Health Master Class (DHMC), a workshop series aimed at accelerating digital technology adoption across hospitals in India. The initiative will be conducted in more than 50 cities, beginning with Hyderabad, Indore, Raipur, and Nagpur. The programme, developed by Koita Foundation and PwC, is sponsored by NATHEALTH, the apex body representing the Indian healthcare industry. The DHMC is specifically designed for hospital leaders who are considering leveraging digital technologies.

The Digital Health Master Class offers a comprehensive approach to healthcare leadership, focusing on digital technologies and their applications. The course will provide leaders with the tools to streamline hospital operations, improve patient care, and achieve financial growth. It will also address the key aspects of digital transformation in healthcare, including the introduction of cutting-edge technologies, strategic insights into driving healthcare transformation, practical guidance for digital health implementation, and leadership strategies for effective digital change.

Deepak Sharma, Co-Founder & CEO of MedLern, said, “The Digital Health Master Class represents a significant step toward building a digitally empowered healthcare ecosystem in India. The benefits of digital are usually long term and there is inadequate information – leading to risk apprehensions. The comprehensive program will also offer ongoing support for accessing resources and tools to help hospital leaders successfully realize their digital strategies.”

By adopting platforms such as HMIS, EMR, telemedicine, patient portals, and physician portals, hospitals can drive operational efficiency, reduce costs, unlock new revenue streams, and improve patient care. These platforms also streamline administrative workflows and enable smooth integration with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), aligning healthcare facilities with India’s national digital health objectives.

Siddhartha Bhattacharya, Secretary-General of NATHEALTH, said, “Digital transformation is no longer an option but a critical necessity for Indian healthcare providers. The DHMC workshops serve as a pivotal initiative to empower Indian hospitals with the tools and knowledge to harness technology effectively, driving enhanced patient care and sustainable growth. This collaboration aligns with NATHEALTH’s vision for ‘Visit Bharat 2047,’ ensuring a healthier, more sustainable future for everyone.”

The Digital Health Master Class is aimed at healthcare leaders who are looking to stay ahead in the evolving healthcare landscape. The programme offers actionable insights and strategies to help organisations effectively navigate their digital transformation journey.
