Medyseva unveiled MedyVend, an IoT-powered automated medicine-dispensing kiosk, at Startup Mahakumbh 2025. Held from April 3 to 5, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, the event showcased solutions from over 3,000 startups, 1,000+ investors, and 10,000+ delegates, highlighting advancements shaping the future of India’s startup ecosystem.

MP-based Medyseva aims to develop rural healthcare through its phygital model, which integrates digital telemedicine, physical clinics, strategic hospital partnerships and now the AI-powered MedyVend medicine dispensers. The  Medyseva app provides access to over 1000+ doctors with a combination of specialists and super specialists in 20+ specialities to patients in underserved regions. This digital reach is supported on the ground by 200+ satellite clinics across 10 states.  Trained nurses and paramedics stationed at Medyseva’s satellite clinics conduct initial health assessments, diagnostic tests, and vital checks.

The introduction of MedyVend, an IoT-powered, 24/7 automated medicine-dispensing kiosk, further aims to strengthen this ecosystem by eliminating barriers to medicine access in remote areas, allowing patients to receive prescribed medications without relying on traditional pharmacies. Medyseva’s expanding network now serves between 1.7 to 2.6 lakh people across Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, and surrounding regions.

Once a doctor prescribes treatment via teleconsultation, MedyVend dispenses the required medicines on the spot. The system is further strengthened by Medyseva’s partnerships with over 5 private hospitals and 2 medical colleges, enabling referrals for specialised care when needed. The IoT-enabled MedyVend kiosks are designed to provide real-time stock updates, enable cashless transactions, and integrate with teleconsultation services. Doctors can prescribe medications remotely, which are then dispensed instantly by MedyVend.

“Our goal is to make quality healthcare truly accessible to rural populations,” said Dr. Vishesh Kasliwal, Founder and CEO, Medyseva. “Patients not only receive expert medical advice via telemedicine, but they also get instant access to prescribed medicines without unnecessary travel or delays.”

Dr Vasundhara Shukla, COO, Medyseva, highlighted the scalability of the solution, stating, “We have successfully implemented MedyVend in parts of Madhya Pradesh for on-ground operational trials, and the results have been transformative.”

Medyseva aims to expand the MedyVend model nationwide, partnering with hospitals, NGOs, and government initiatives to ensure widespread adoption. Future advancements will include AI-powered diagnostics and automated medicine recommendations, further enhancing rural healthcare delivery.
