MeritTrac partners with OET to boost healthcare opportunities; bridge skills gap

MeritTrac, a pure-play Testing & Assessment provider, has announced a strategic partnership with the Occupational English Test (OET). This collaboration aims to enhance opportunities for nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals in India seeking international careers.

With a global shortage of 4.5 million nurses by 2030, through this partnership, MeritTrac will leverage its vast experience in testing to oversee the delivery of the OET Test, which has versions for 12 healthcare professions, in Bangalore. According to the statement published, this initiative will facilitate convenient access to these assessments for healthcare professionals across the region, ensuring they meet international standards and qualifications necessary for overseas employment. OET Test’s has acceptance by 500+ employers, regulators and universities worldwide.
