MFine has announced that its lab and diagnostic services have grown by over 3X in 2021. In October 2018, MFine added another layer to its virtual doctor consultations by integrating with laboratory services and now has over 300 lab partners in more than 400 cities in India.

MFine has partnered with labs such as Thyrocare, Lal Path Labs, Healthians and many more to offer safe and prompt lab services to its users. As a telemedicine platform that provides end to end healthcare services, the company is targeting to add over 300 lab partners in 2021.

With the uptick in the adoption of online consultations and at-home lab and diagnostic services in India, MFine provides its users with access to more than 700 diagnostic centres across India. Additionally, the organisation offers a free analysis of the reports and follows international standards of safety protocols along with a strict adherence to Turn Around Time (TAT). What makes these services even more effective is the range of services offered on the platform from doctor consultations to lucrative discounts. While most of the lab and diagnostic services users are from metro cities like Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai, MFine witnessed a significant growth in customers from non-metro cities like Surat, Coimbatore and Ahmedabad.

Since the pandemic, MFine has seen a gradual increase in the number of people booking regular and routine health checks. Full-body check-ups are the most sought after on the MFine platform indicating the increase in the adoption of preventive health checks in India. Regular health checks can help to identify early warning signs of disease or illness. Heart disease, diabetes and some cancers can often be picked up in their early stages, when treatment may be more successful.

Arjun Choudhary, Founding Member & Chief Business Officer, MFine, “By integrating with labs and providing follow-up care services, MFine has taken a major step in advancing the quality and range of ailments treatable through telemedicine. For diagnostic services, we have seen an increasing number of users opting for home sample collection even after the second wave to avoid stepping out. With online diagnostic reports, consultation with the doctor and even prescribed medicines being delivered at home, users are getting used to the complete care that comes with MFine and our partners. We believe that through our partnership with leading lab partners, we can deliver diagnostics in a way that can better support early diagnosis and thereby have a profound impact on the health and well-being of patients.”

Jayraj Chauhan, Vice President- CEO’s office, Healthians, “After the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, healthcare providers began embracing a higher degree of digital technology to deliver care that reduced the chances of transmitting the virus. Whether it is enabling the booking of diagnostics tests from the comfort of one’s home for any kind of health check-up or enabling patients to consult doctors virtually, these steps have empowered people to keep their health on track even during these tough times. Direct-to-patient diagnostics is the new paradigm that will not only play a major role in creating the best health outcomes for patients but will also prove to be a game-changer in terms of growing the health sector.”
