Molbio Diagnostics appoints Dr Balram Bhargava and Dr Arun Kumar Jha as Independent Directors

New appointments aim to strengthen healthcare accessibility through innovative diagnostics

Molbio Diagnostics, based in Goa, has announced the appointment of two new Independent Directors, Professor (Dr) Balram Bhargava and Dr Arun Kumar Jha, to its board. These additions reflect the company’s focus on enhancing healthcare accessibility through diagnostic innovations.

Professor (Dr) Balram Bhargava brings over 35 years of experience in medical research and public health. His previous roles include Director-General of the Indian Council of Medical Research and Secretary of India’s Department of Health Research. He has led efforts in managing public health crises and contributed to pandemic preparedness and health policy.

Dr Arun Kumar Jha, with a background in public health and policy, has served as an Adviser in the Department of Economic Affairs and Economic Adviser in the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. He is currently the Chancellor of the National Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology and Senior Adviser at John Snow India. Dr Jha’s involvement in tuberculosis elimination programs, including a recent assignment with the Stop TB Partnership and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), positions him as a key contributor to Molbio’s mission.
