MSSI Mumbai, Flying Squad India organise bike rally

100 motor bikers took part in the event to raise awareness of MS

Every year Multiple Sclerosis Society of India (MSSI) observes India Multiple Sclerosis Day nationwide on first Sunday of February. This day has been ear-marked to raise awareness of MS on every available platform. MSSI Mumbai & Flying Squad India recently organised a motor bike rally in Matunga, Mumbai to observe Annual India MS Day. More than 100 enthusiastic motor bikers participated in the rally.

Sandeep Chitnis, National Vice President & Chairman, Mumbai welcomed all highlighting the significance of observing India MS Day for raising MS Awareness. He introduced the Chief Guest Sucheta Dalal, Founder Trustee of Money Life Foundation; who then flagged off the rally at 7.45 am.

A huge number of motorbikes glided through the streets with MSSI flags flowing on their motorbikes. At the end of the rally, all bikers were received by actress Aditi Deshpande who welcomed them back with an inspiring message. All the participants were given a certificate of appreciation at the hands of Deshpande, Sheela Chitnis and Dr Rekha Bhatkhande. One of the unique features of this event was a ‘Street Play on Multiple Sclerosis disease and support from MSSI to MS Patients’ by Rotractors from Rotary Club of Shivaji Park. Dr Rekha Bhatkhande, Secretary, MSSI Mumbai, briefed all on MS and welfare services of MSSI.
