The programme is designed to provide highest clinical care in comfort of patient’s home
NephroPlus, a dialysis centre introduced Freedom- A Peritoneal Dialysis Programme. The programme is designed to provide the highest clinical care in the comfort of a patient’s home.
In an aim to provide the best possible treatment solutions for its dialysis patients, NephroPlus analysed the problems that patients face in regards to non-compliance, lack of training, demand and supply, poor diet etc. and subsequently crafted a solution that would focus on training patients, the most important aspect in the treatment therapy. The Freedom Programme will further ensure timely supply, monthly consultation, online access of clinical data and monthly diet consultations.
Speaking on the introduction of Peritoneal Dialysis Solution, Vikram Vuppala, Founder and CEO, NephroPlus said, “Anyone who is diagnosed with ESKD should have all the options for treatment presented to them along with the pros and cons. They, along with their family and the treating doctor should then decide which therapy they want to opt for. Keeping this in mind, we have come up with Freedom, a unique, first of its kind PD service by a service provider and not a manufacturer of PD fluids. We will ensure a hassle-free experience and best in quality care for patients who opt for PD.”
“I have personally been on Peritoneal Dialysis for over five years out of my total duration of 23 years in dialysis. My time on Peritoneal Dialysis was the most productive time” said Kamal Shah, Co-Founder and Director, Guest Services, NephroPlus.
