The one year course is a mix of class room, online and project work.
Authorities from TISS’ School of Health Systems Studies have extended the date for online application to the Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration (EPGDHA). The last date for online application to the EPGDHA is now May 28, 2016. Total fee for the one year programme, divided into two semesters, is Rs 100,000.00. There will be 18 days of classroom contact per semester, with the rest of the curricula being covered via online material and project work, including a viva voce. The classes will be conducted at the TISS campus, Mumbai.
The course has come to be regarded as one of the most admired and well reputed courses in the healthcare industry. The Institute approaches a case study method to hospital management education, as a result adopting the most current practices in hospital management circles. It is targeted at healthcare professionals currently engaged in hospital administration at senior and middle levels and with considerable work experience at these levels.
The curricula spans Management Principles and Practices, Research Methodology and Statistics, Health Policy and Administration, Personnel Management, Labour Legislation and Legal Framework, Financial Management, Organization and Administration of Supportive Services, Organizational Behavior, Economics of Health, Information Management, Organization and Administration of Clinical Services, Quality Management, Materials Management, Hospital Planning as well as seminar courses in case studies.
