Orbis in partnership with PBMA’s H.V. Desai Eye Hospital inaugurated the Green Vision Center (GVC) in Satara, Maharashtra.
The center is aimed at providing primary eye care and optical services to the communities in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner.
GVC is an innovative approach where a vision center is transformed through a combination of using clean solar-powered electricity, energy efficient electrical fixtures and appliances, and digital data management.
The GVC has also been designed to address the long-drawn issue of data management. They are deployed with digital data management software which enables better patient care and patient data management, improving continuity of care, and reducing the use of paper.
