Paras Health appoints Usha Rajeev, former PwC Partner, as Independent Director

Paras Health has appointed Usha Rajeev as an Independent Director, following her tenure at Price Waterhouse, India (member firm of Price Waterhouse Coopers International), where she served as a Partner for over 19 years until her retirement in 2018. Rajeev’s extensive experience in governance, audit, and risk management is set to bolster the board’s oversight capabilities and contribute to Paras Health’s strategic goals.

On the new appointment, Dr Dharminder Nagar, Managing Director of Paras Health, stated, “It is a pleasure to have Usha Rajeev join the Paras Health Board as an Independent Director. I am sure that with her expertise in audit & risk management, she will be able to significantly contribute in achieving our objectives by strengthening the right checks & balances.” 

Usha Rajeev shared her excitement about joining Paras Health, saying, “I am honoured to join the Board of Paras Health and contribute in its growth journey ahead. With my experience in auditing and risk management, I aim to support Paras Health in achieving its strategic goals and look forward to working on its mission to deliver affordable and quality healthcare with compassion.”

Usha Rajeev holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce (honours course) from the University of Delhi, SRCC. She is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and graduate of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.
