Pluss launches all-in-one subscription plan with medicines reminders and a flat 25 per cent off on medicines

Pluss, a Delhi based hyper local medicine delivery start-up, on its first anniversary, has come up with an all-in-one Pluss Assist Subscription plan. The plan helps removes the worry of keeping track of medicines for people suffering from chronic diseases, who need to order medicines on a monthly/weekly basis.

The subscription plan offers its subscribers facilities such as discounted medicines, free medical tests and more. The plan works with the one-time submission of the prescription by the user and the Pluss team giving timely reminders, 48 and 24 hours before the specified date of the medicine refill. Subscribers can take a pick between two plans available which are the ‘Basic’ plan and the ‘Advanced’ Subscription plan. With a validity of a year and a one-time limited period fee of only Rs 1000, the Advanced plan not only gives medicines at a flat 25 per cent discount, but also provide six free medical tests, which will be done in the comfort of the subscriber’s home.

Atit Jain, CEO, Pluss commented, “Through this subscription plan we aim to make the lives of people with on-going long-term medication a little easier. Our team has devised a process to keep track of refill dates of each individual user and then remind them for re-orders before their medicines run out.”

Based out of Delhi, Pluss was incorporated in 2015 by Atit Jain, Madhulika Pandey and Tarun Lawadia after witnessing the country’s largely unorganised healthcare industry, which otherwise is worth billions of dollars. The Pluss app offers cash on delivery services as well as online payment. Currently covering Delhi-NCR and Hyderabad, Pluss has further added medical tests, Ayurveda (Patanjali) and organic products to its categories. With the health products market expected to grow at a CAGR of 15 per cent and touch $158.2 Billion in 2017, Pluss has placed a bet on hyperlocal delivery, envisioning emerging as India’s reigning name in the healthcare sector.
