With strict restrictions on movement and safety concerns forcing people to stay at home, patients needing medical care are also finding it hard to access a doctor. The development comes a few days after the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare issued guidelines on the practice of telemedicine, giving much-needed statutory cover to health practitioners offering remote care in India.
