Shree Krishna Hosptial, Karamsad to host GUJSURGEON 2015

A surgical quiz will be conducted where general surgical post graduate students from 11 medical colleges from Gujarat will participate

The annual conference of Gujarat State Surgeon’s Association and Gujarat State

Chapter of the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), GUJSURGEON 2015, will be held in Anand from November 27 to 29, 2015. The event is being hosted by Anand Surgeons Forum and Shree Krishna Hospital, Karamsad. Around 500 practicing surgeons including post graduate students are expected to attend.

The highlight of the conference will be a live workshop on laproscopic surgery by Asian Bariatrics Hospital, Ahmedabad and endoscopy surgery by Shree Krishna Hospital, Karamsad. The live workshop demonstration will be conducted with audio and visual transmission and participants will get an opportunity to interact with the operating surgeon. In addition, six national level and 28 state level practicing surgeons will address the

core concepts necessary to manage different kinds of surgical procedures and review state-of-the-art management options for reconstructive surgery.

On the concluding day, a surgical quiz will be conducted where general surgical post graduate students from 11 medical colleges from Gujarat will participate. The winner of the quiz competition will get a chance to represent at the national level conference which will be held in December at Gurgaon.
