Startoon Labs signs MOU to initiate Pheezee assessment at Medplus diagnostic centres

Startoon Labs, a Hyderabad-based medical device R&D and manufacturing company with a focus on Joint and Muscle health, announced that it has signed an MOU with Medplus to initiate the Pheezee assessment in the Medplus diagnostic centres.

Pheezee, a Joint health monitoring device and USFDA listed, is a wearable prognostic device that can monitor and track the functional recovery of patients undergoing physiotherapy. By generating AI-enabled reports that include valuable insights on affected muscles, along with impressions and personalised recommendations, it helps the physiotherapist with the right assessment, thereby aiming for faster and effective patient recovery. Using Pheezee, it can do a pain diagnostic test and give a report which can identify the root cause of pain, especially for ageing and posture-related pains.

The Pheezee test is useful for patients suffering from joint and muscle pain. It helps to identify the exact root cause of the pain and pinpoint the affected muscle. So, instead of treating the entire joint, it can be useful for the doctors to treat the affected muscle only. The Pheezee test can be taken by people having musculoskeletal pains and neurological conditions.

According to a press statement, Pheezee evaluates muscle function and nerve communication that enables precise diagnosis conditions such as joint pains and muscle disorders. It leverages technology like Electromyography and Range of Motion analysis to measure and track patient recovery post-musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. This device can identify multiple musculoskeletal diseases, including arthritis, muscle dystrophy, carpal tunnel syndrome and many more in their early stages and can ensure better rehabilitation outcomes for the patients.
