T&D Diagnostics starts manufacturing of its Starkwert FIA range in India

T&D Diagnostics, Headquartered in Canada with its manufacturing unit in the Netherlands, recently updated its plans to manufacture more products in India. T&D entered into a strategic partnership with Genenest, a Noida-based Biotech company, to manufacture its FIA range in India. Under this strategic partnership, Genenest will be an exclusive manufacturer in India for T&D’s Starkwert range of FIA products.

On March 3, 2025, the first kit under this strategic tie-up rolled out of Genenest and was handed over by Nitin Gupta, Co-Founder, Genenest to Manish Varma, CEO, T&D Diagnostics.

Gupta explained the growth plans of Genenest, whereby Genenest plans to get contract manufacturing jobs from high manufacturing cost countries in North America and Western Europe to India.

Sharing his expansion plans for India, Varma said that, depending on various regulatory approvals, T&D can introduce IVD kits manufactured in India to different countries. He added, “Developing economic moats is key to developing a sustainable business model. Global supply chains including manufacturing and distribution hubs that conform to stringent quality control norms would form the basis of any IVD company with global aspirations.”
