The Smart G-EYE endoscopy uses balloon technology to uncover pre-cancerous polyps
Healthcare solutions company, Ventura Solutions, in partnership with Smart Medical Systems, developer and manufacturer of gastrointestinal endoscopy devices from Israel, has launched a smart gastrointestinal endoscopy technology, G-EYE, in New Delhi.
The Smart G-EYE endoscopy uses balloon technology to uncover pre-cancerous polyps that are hidden in behind the colon’s natural folds. The technology also has the ability to perform double balloon enteroscopy.
“The G-EYE endoscopy technology is a simple and effective method which enhances the technical and therapeutic aspects of colonoscopy and enteroscopy procedures. It can improve the diagnosis and therapy of gastrointestinal disorders particularly the colorectal cancers. In many countries, endoscopy procedures give only 60 per cent detection rate but with this technology, the detection rate gets enhanced to 98 per cent,said Dr Zamir Halpern from Tel Aviv Sourasky, Israel.

Our mission is to make this unique technology highly accessible to hospitals and endoscopy centres. Initially, we are focusing on corporate hospitals. Later, we will pass on this technology to government hospitals. We will also rent out this technology on a per day basis to hospitals who will be interested to use this cost-effective technology.”
