Welldercare has announced their latest strategic Partnership with iiV Health Solutions to enable end-to-end solutions for Peripheral artery disease among the 60 plus. This Partnership will utilize the iiV Health Solutions technology for prevention, early detection, and management of peripheral artery disease (PAD) in Diabetics across all retirement resorts of Welldercare.

India has over 70 million people affected with Diabetes, among which many are at the risk of suffering from Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), which could develop to Critical Limb Ischemia (CLI), leading to amputation. The alliance between Welldercare and iiV health solutions is a strategic step to offer affordable and non-invasive technology to prevent and manage the disease. Welldercare uses cutting edge technology for continuous preventive healthcare monitoring. Within this context, non-invasive technology offers easy access to necessary biomarkers with minimum discomfort and supervision.

The technology offered by iiV Health Solutions is a Cloud-based Artificial Intelligence (AI), making remote telemedicine accessible at the Welldercare resorts. “Through this partnership, the iiV Health Solutions platform will provide us with the tools for early detection of peripheral artery disease and will reduce or eliminate associated risks in diabetes, which will result in a healthier later life.” said Kanishka Acharya, CEO, Welldercare India.

“What is often lost in this maze of technology innovation is the need to develop and implement tech that makes an actual difference in daily living, whether it’s improving the quality in performing activities of daily living (ADL’s) or restoring the dignity to seniors in the entire caregiver-care receiver interaction,” he further adds.

Welldercare brings together hospitality and holistic care into a single platform for the 60 plus. It uses an integrated approach to wellness with strong preventive healthcare interventions backed by the latest non-intrusive technology. The company recently announced its plans for a pan India network of retirement resorts starting with Goa, Manali, and Kumarakom locations. The company plans to scale its network of LAAS retirement resorts to 20 locations in the next 24 months.
