It is equipped with the latest diagnostic facilities and technology to optimise and fit hearing aids for all age groups. The newly inaugurated center for the hearing impaired will be managed and operated by Punjab Optical House (POH), under the guidance of Dr Sunil Malik & his team.
The new sound centre would offer customised solutions to meet individual hearing problems, right from diagnosis for children with communication and hearing disabilities to providing hearing aids and speech therapy suited to individual needs and requirements.
The Sound Centre also has special services for Tinnitus (constant discomfort noise in the ear), Hearing Screening (OAE & BERA), Widex digital hearing aids, batteries, and hearing aid accessories for the hearing-impaired population.
Speaking at the opening, Avinash Pawar said, “POH Sound Centre has a sound station and accessories lounge, so users can experience the connectivity and clarity of hearing sounds without any distortion. Sound station not only gives an opportunity to potential users to witness the sound from hearing aids before actually buying one but caregivers can also avail a hands-on experience & feel the difference of sound from Moment hearing aids vis a vis other hearing aids”
Dr Sunil Malik, Director & Proprietor POH Sound Center said, “the philosophy behind this Sound center is to develop a world-class hearing care delivery system and improve the standard of dispensing and service for the hearing impaired in central Delhi.”
